A very attractive French 19th century Transitional st. giltwood and marble coffee table. The coffee table is raised by elegant scrolled cabriole legs with finely carved acanthus leaves. The straight frieze displays a richly carved recessed berried laurel band with block rosettes at each cut corner. Above is the rectangular white Carrara marble top framed within a beautiful Brocatelle d'Espagne marble border with cut corners. All original gilt.
