Robby Cuthbert Design is a small business located in Palo Alto, California. Founded in January 2013, we are still in the formative process as we continue to develop our initial line of products. Our very first product, the Contour Coffee Table, has set the tone for our business, as we strive to create completely unique goods that are both functional and artistically conceived.

A modern sculptural coffee table made from CNC-cut bamboo and steel cable. Both a great piece of artwork as well as a functional piece of furniture. The table explores tension as the means of creating a stable system, using counteracting forces provided by the cables to hold the four bamboo curves in place. Though the four curves 'float' independently and never touch each other, the table is completely stable. The table is comprised of a sculptural base upon which a sheet of glass is placed to serve as the table-top. The eco-friendly bamboo is finished with a thin coat of polyurethane and the 3/8' glass is tempered for added strength. Choose between a small and large base then choose from the available glass options. If you are interested in only purchasing the base, please send a message using the contact form. Weight limit is 50 lbs (95 lbs including glass tabletop). Base and glass are shipped separately. Current processing time is approximately 3-4 weeks. Ships to contiguous US only.
