The Tactile quilted armchair and sofa collection enhances the tactile properties of leather through a statuesque design that defines the museum-like appearance of the products and underlines Vincenzo De Cotiis's devoted attention to detail. Like sculptures with enveloping lines, the armchair and sofa are deconstructed here, broken down into their essential parts to form separate components that dialogue in the balanced equilibrium of the volumes. The seat and backrest thus become independent elements that touch only where necessary for stability and are further differentiated by the double quilting process. A decoration that highlights the monumental character and uniqueness of the individual piece that, as the absolute protagonist, elevates the style and personality of each space.
