Description
Two opposing yet identical Senegalese sweetgrass baskets make up the perfectly balanced the Stephen Burks Man Made Double Basket Lamp. This double pendant glows with daylight bulbs diffused by two discs of textured polycarbonate and is suspended from the center by two intertwined black and white cords. Prototyped and developed as part of the Studio Museum exhibition, Stephen Burks Man Made, 2011.
