Elevate your architectural visualizations with this professional Modular Sputnik Chandelier Kit. This asset is engineered as a comprehensive construction set, allowing you to build bespoke mid-century modern fixtures tailored to your specific scene requirements.
Fully Customizable ComponentsThis kit includes a variety of interchangeable parts designed for seamless integration:
-Dual Hub Sizes: Includes both 10cm and 20cm diameter hubs to accommodate different room scales.
-Adjustable Stem Lengths: Choose between 20cm and 30cm extension rods to connect the hub to the ceiling canopy.
-Universal Arms: Standardized modular arms designed to fit perfectly into any hub segment.
-Snap-Ready Geometry: Flat surfaces feature center-point triangle fans (as seen in the 5th image) to serve as perfect bullseyes for vertex snapping.
Professional Organization: The file is structured to save you time and keep your project manageable
Pre-Assembled Example: Includes a 10-arm example assembly parented to a master Empty for instant placement.
Hierarchy Preservation: Optimized parenting ensures that your organization remains intact when exporting to FBX or glTF.
Technical SpecificationsTopology: SubD-Ready geometry; 16,567 Vertices / 33,056 Triangles for the complete scene.
PBR Materials: Two master materials—Brushed Brass and Emissive Frosted Glass.
Texture Optimization: Variable resolution maps to maximize quality while minimizing file size.
Normal Map: 4K for high-fidelity metallic surface detail.
Base Color: 128x128 (Efficiently optimized for single-color surfaces).
Format Compatibility: Includes .blend, .fbx, and .glb (glTF 2.0) with ORM-packed textures.
Usage & Assembly Instructions:
This kit is designed for mathematical precision and ease of use. To create custom configurations with the modular arms, follow these steps:
Dynamic Placement: Each modular arm is designed for Face Snapping compatibility. Enable your software’s Align Rotation to Target (or Normal Alignment) feature to move arms freely across the cylindrical surface of the hubs while maintaining perfect perpendicular orientation.
Radial Array Setup: To rotate arms around the hub, set your Pivot Point to the center of the Hub cylinder.
Calculated Distribution: For perfectly symmetrical arm placement, use the simple 360/x formula (where x is the desired number of arms) 6-Arm Configuration: Duplicate and rotate the arm by 60°. 8-Arm Configuration: Duplicate and rotate the arm by 45°.
Custom Layouts: Simply divide 360 by your target arm count to find the exact rotation degree for your assembly.
Master Control: For the most efficient workflow, use the Duplicate followed by Rotate command while the Pivot Point is locked to the Hub center.
