Two years later the Original 1227 was born.Designed in 1934, the Original 1227 pioneered Anglepoise constant spring technology, delivering ultimate flexibility and perfect balance. Today this timeless, classic design enjoys iconic design status.Heritage inspired colours in high-gloss finish, woven cable and authentic brass details create a new aesthetic for this iconic Anglepoise design. With constant tension springs and flexible shade, the stylish table lamp offers unrivalled flexibility, smooth movement and perfect balance.The 1227 Brass is crafted from an aluminium shade and arms. Brass shade cap, bridle, spacers and connectors. Twisted woven cable and Anglepoise constant spring technology. Available online in the following heritage colourways: Elephant Grey, Jet Black and Ink Blue.
