  • 1. Autodesk 3ds Max 2021 with PBR materials (metallic-roughness workflow). Works with Arnold, Vray NEXT.

The archive content:

3ds Max 2021 scene with high-poly model (scene units are millimeters).

FBX (exported from this scene, with pbr materials).

maps folder with Basecolor, Metallness, Roughness, AO, Normal maps (Normal map have DirectX format).

  • 2. Autodesk 3ds Max 2014 with Vray materials. Tested in Vray Next, Vray 3.6.

The archive content:

3ds Max 2014 scene whith high-poly model (scene units are millimeters).

FBX (exported from this scene, with Vray materials).

maps folder with Diffuse, Glossiness, IOR, Reflection, Normal maps (Normal map have DirectX format).

Who works in the V-Ray version lower than 3.1, be careful, in the materials in the BRDF section there is Microfaset GTR (GGX), if your version is older than 3.1, then the BRDF field will be empty. Choose Blinn, Phong or Ward - which is preferable for you.

  • 3. Blender 2.8x with Cycles materials (metallic-roughness workflow). Renderer: Cycles, EEVEE.

Blender scene whith high-poly model (Unit system: Metrics).

FBX (exported from this scene, with Cycles materials).

  • 4. Unity package.

3 render pipeline available:

MowedGrass_Unity_HDRP.unitypackage - High Definition Render Pipeline.

MowedGrass_Unity_URP.unitypackage - Universal Render Pipeline.

MowedGrass_Unity_Standard.unitypackage - Standard.

Each package uses mesh with 5 LODs and 4096 png textures.

Drag and drop package into your project and use MowedGrass_Prefab in your scene.

  • 5. Ureal Engine 4.

Located in MowedGrass_UnrealEngine4.zip archive.

The archive content:

MowedGrass folder that contains SM_MowedGrass Static Mesh with LODs, Material and Textures.

Place MowedGrass folder into your project Content folder, then place SM_MowedGrass into your scene.

  • FBX, OBJ, DAE, 3ds. Model exported with Standard 3ds max materials (default 3ds max materials) without assigned textures.

Located in MowedGrass_[format].zip archive.

Each archive contains high-poly model and LODs in separate files.

Exported with mm system units. The model has UV mapping.

Import the model into your application and assign the materials that your application uses.

Assign textures from the archive Textures_PBR_(for_FBX_OBJ_DAE_etc).zip. In the archive you will find PBR textures for metallic-roughness wokflow (AmbientOcclusion, BaseColor, Metallic, Roughness, Normal_DX, Normal_OG). Normal map has both DirectX and OpenGL versions.

  • GLB - The model in glTF format.

3 variations of the model available:

MowedGrass_LOD0_4k.glb : 10 240 tris with 4096 x 4096 jpg textures. File size: 54,7 mb.

MowedGrass_LOD1_2k.glb : 2 560 tris with 2048 x 2048 jpg textures. File size: 15,4 mb.

MowedGrass_LOD2_1k.glb : 640 tris with 1024 x 1024 jpg textures. File size: 4,0 mb.
