A toolset of geometry nodes and instances to achieve various solar stations on any ground.

Maps are packed within the blender file.

Content:

One scene with five collections, each one is an example setup for laying solar panels:

Flat terrain (no raycast)

relief terrain (raycast on terrain)

Roof (variation of flat terrain with specific instances)

Orientable 1 Axis (specific instances, raycast available)

Orientable 2 Axis (specific instances, raycast available)

Update:

It's a major 1.5 update of the previous 1.0 version.

-two new orientable solar fields

-one new set of solar cells maps

-Optimized instances with less polygons, fixed errors.

How to use it:

See example collections. All included instances are to fit and tile in 10x10 meters squares, they are distributed on face centers only.

Note: If you have a slow computer, depending on the size of the solar field, you might avoid enabling instances on screen and keep them for render only.
