DESCRIPTION

Stereoscopic 3D Display - Stereoscope - Concept

images hopefully demonstrate the concept quite clearly.

two projectors project stereoscopic images for the left and right eye, onto a rotating glass crossed pane or translucent mirror type surface. we can use perfect mechanical timing using gears to ensure the perfect projected image of light hits the correct angle and set of eyes.

multiple projector angles can even be used during different times of the rotation to complete the entire 3D image, fooling the eye, sequentially showing it multiple images taken from multiple predefined angles all around a object. [instead of just left and right]. if we filmed an object 360 degrees, 8x 45 degrees, we could project it 360 degrees virtually. we can have 8 cameras recording an object, and then 8 projection surfaces [moments] and matching projector angles visualizing the 3D object from all sides.
