Optical Laser Transistor - Modular Liquid Chrystal Prism - Concept.

A system consisting of a modular [micro] prism tile, that can be placed in one of 4 ways [directions], combined with 3 others in a set of 4, they can be used as a optical logic gate. depending on the size of the Laser or LED transistors, and the size we can produce the prisms, we could perhaps scale them down further, to make in and output even faster. maybe because primary colored light can be mixed, and if centered on the prism correctly by machine, we could use a optical light detector, able to detect multiple frequencies in the same location, with a single multi wavelength detector/sensor.

this might enable us to detect a plethora of optical wavelengths possible in bursts or series. in this example i used 3 colored lasers, but if only two sources are used it could also work as a optical And/Or Logical gate, but why not use the same space to detect all possible color combinations, perhaps an actual Ccd sensor can be used to determine the final output and its frequency value. if it can sample or sense the correct wavelength, near instant, in a single measurement, the logical gate can sort out between many more possibilities, much faster.
