Sony TC-399 reel tape recorder - the realistic high-poly model.
The model is highly accurate and based on the manufacturer's original dimensions and technical data.
Model is high-detailed, has real world scale and realistic materials. Modelled in a CAD system
Alternate supported format is FBX.
This model is great for architectural and interior visualisation.
Vray 3.00.08 and 3.3 Render for 3ds Max 2015. Key shots, used in thumbnails, are included in files.
No 3rd party plugin needed (except V-Ray).
Model is royalty free for any commercial application, however, you should hide or change the trade mark logo.

The tapes that fit are named "Trident reel". It is also in my collection of models. Please ask if you are interested, I can offer a discount for both models.

Thanks for the response. Can only find this: https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/electronics/audio/maxell-reel-tape - and that doesn´t seem to fit.

They were built specially for this model and they, of course, fit to the model. Redrawn from a real tape&recorder :)

Ah, ok. It just looks like the tape itself wouldn´t wrap around the reels and fit the tonehead etc.
