Ironman 28 (Tetsujin 28), as it was known in some parts of Latin America - in Mexico and Peru it was known as The Man of Steel - was about a robot built by Dr. Cañedo (Dr. Kaneda in the original), being his son Ricardo (Shotaro in the original) who managed it using a small remote control box. There were also Dr. Eduardo Espinoza (Dr. Shikishima in the original), his wife Sandra, their daughter Marta and Inspector Efraín (Inspector Ootsuka in the original).
He had two dubbing, the first one he gave in Peru in the 70's, the robot was known as The Man of Steel, and the boy who handled it as Carlos Centella, on the other hand, in the version that he gave on TV in the mid-1970s. 80 in the dubbing mentioned him as IRONMAN 28, and the now boy was Ricardo Canedo.
The series has many enemies, usually the gangster known as Branch appeared on the scene, who was the director of an organization outside the law, who had apparently unlimited resources and used the great advances of technology to commit his crimes. misdeeds, with a wide range of giant robots.
Ironman 28 was not alone, he shared his adventures with a small robot, named 08, who used cassettes to follow instructions and that on more than one occasion was decisive for Ironman to go ahead in his missions.
Ironman 28 had no weapons, he fought bare-knuckled with a couple of special moves such as the Demolition Fist and the Flying Kick, more than once he used his crest that resembles a Roman general to cut or ram enemies.
