Coming in a variety of forms and sizes, they can only be seen by those who have been to the fairy realm or those who are allowed to. Fairies are supernatural winged creatures granted great magic power but they prefer hiding in the forest and living happily ever after. This fairy, however, chooses to fight, she's a fighter who will stop at nothing to obliterate her foes to protect her home. - I've noticed something about FBX to UE4, it adds stuff to your mesh when you import, her wings are all boxy in UE4.. Update: Once I got to playing around with the Materials and Textures I got rid of the boxieness on the wings.
- can you give some advice on how to fix the boxiness issue?
- For those who have never used Translucency in unreal this wasn't too difficult to work thru. Start by creating a new material. pull in the fairy_wings_do.tga to the new material. in the material set the blend mode to translucent. Connect the top output of the texture to base color and the bottom output to opacity. Tada!
