The idea was born during my short travel to Italy, like an architect and art lover I was looking for inspiration from the Renaissance, of course not only in this style but the idea of doing something with detail and the atmosphere of a cathedral or baroque. The idea hit my mind for months, then when I had some free time I decided to make it directly in Unreal Engine.Dark Cathedral is a personal work to introduce me to Unreal Engine 5, but the challenge was to do every asset, modeling, optimization, and texturing, I didn't want to use any source of the popular asset libraries to looking for understand how to make and optimize and know how my scene works, and then after the animation, was a pleasure doing a little bit of composition process to make the final result it works for me.
This pack of Dark Cathedral includes all the assets of the project, 3dsMax files to make your own variations, UDIM textures materials, and of course the Unreal Engine Scene in 5.1 version (need activate virtual textures support). I hope Enjoy it
