The 3D model is not included in the project.
This is a digital product (there is no physical product) intended for the independent production of sheet metal products. You should be able to cut out parts on a CNC metal cutting machine or manually with a convenient cutting tool using a stencil (for example, a grinder). Also, you should be able to bend the parts on a bending machine or manually, at the end welding the parts together according to the instructions and, if desired, cleaning and painting the finished product. Please note that the drawings are distributed on the condition that your finished product is a finished sculpture, the sale of welding kits based on my drawings is strictly prohibited.
This project is based on the image of the famous sculpture of the New York Charging Bull.
The Charging Bull involves the manufacture of steel with a thickness of 1.5 mm and a bending radius of 1 mm. The weight of the Bull is about 163 kg. There are 71 parts in total. The design documentation includes 69 pages, 66 of which are bending drawings. The instruction includes 50 pages in the order of assembly. The bend line is drawn along the cutouts in the part, in accordance with the drawing. The archive includes: dxf (66 pcs.- files separately and for a sheet 2400×1200, 2500×1250, 3000×1500), Drawings (69 pages), Instructions (50 pages). Overall dimensions of the sculpture (LxWxH): 3235х1544х2000 mm.
Let me clarify once again, do not make a sculpture of the original size from thin metal, for example 0.5…1mm, especially the legs, this will cause deformation. I strongly recommend making the legs from thicker metal (2…3mm) than the main body.
Pay attention to the recommendations for increasing stiffness, which you can see in the instructions.
The project is available DXF with engraving and without engraving. Remember to set up the layers before cutting, otherwise the machine may cut the parts along the engraving line.
DXF are available both in the form of parts separately, and placed for a sheet of metal with a size of 2400×1200, 2500x1250mm, 3000×1500.
For greater stability for the sculpture, you can make a tubular base or attach it to the ground. If you need to create a stencil for printing in PDF format or create a DXF file with all the parts located on the sheet metal format you need, please contact me.
For a standard size, I recommend using 2mm steel for the details of the legs, all the clarifications are in the project.
The files you download are not intended for distribution (in any form, digital or printed), they are intended for you and your production. You have the right to manufacture and sell products created according to these drawings (only finished sculpture) in any quantities.
3D models are not included in the project, if you need, then STP models of all parts, except for mirror parts, (not assembled) can be provided for an additional fee. But I do not guarantee that your bending calculation software will display the models correctly.
Please note that the drawings are distributed on the condition that your finished product is a finished sculpture, the sale of welding kits based on my drawings is strictly prohibited.
Thank you and good luck with your work!
