DescriptionThis Prionosuchus model was created with great care and a deep passion for prehistoric life. Prionosuchus was not a dinosaur, but one of the largest amphibians that ever lived, roaming the swamps and river systems of the Middle Permian (ca. 270 million years ago). With its long, narrow snout and powerful body, it lived much like a modern crocodile—silent, patient, and perfectly adapted for ambush hunting in the water.

In crafting this model, I focused on scientific accuracy and natural movement: from the smooth, amphibian-like skin to the streamlined anatomy and expressive, easy-to-use rig. My goal was to bring this ancient predator to life in a way that works beautifully for film, games, education, and visual storytelling.

Despite its age, Prionosuchus is a creature full of personality—and I hope this model helps you explore that world with creativity and inspiration.
