This model is available in several formats and several paint schemes.

This home-built experimental was designed by Ken Rand in the early 1970s.It was designed to meet the need of a fast inexpensive single seat airplane for the home builder. It was to be something that required limited mechanical ability and was light weight. The resulting design was built using composite materials (micro-bead foam, fiberglass cloth, epoxy, and wood.) The lightweight airframe was powered by a 36 to 75 horse power vw engine which allowed cruise speed of 130 mph and a top speed of 140. It had a 7.5 gallon tank and a range of 400 miles. The landing gear were mechanically retracted. It was 12 feet long and had a 17 foot 6 inch wingspan.
