This is a very accurate hi-poly model of the Spitfire Vb, probably the most accurate out there! Built up using large amounts of reference material, including copies from original plans.

It has many articulated parts, and is modeled in such a way as to easily create more. e.g. Rudder or elevator trim tabs.

This is a high poly model NOT a 'game ready' model, it would be great to use as a base to build a low poly mesh for games or sims.

The cockpit has been started, and is fine for most exterior shots, this area however could be a work of art in the right hands, I imagine I would have spent just as long in there as I did on the exterior! This can be your challenge to complete.

This model would be unbeatable in the hands of a skilled and patient texture artist. I have done a fair job but always admit my modeling is better than my texture work. See this as a challenge, a wonderful canvas to work on.

The model is available in 3ds Max & FBX 2011--2014 formats. The textures are either .png or .tiff, with many uncollapsed .psd files to play around with. There is a standard material 'basic' version, and a Mental Ray version ( as used in most of my renders )

This is a low price for a model of this caliber, you will be able to render off beautiful images or amazing animations. It would be fine in a film, and has featured in one already here.
