Every tribe of those pint-sized cannibals has a Mire Doctor, the one with the biggest hat and the most unpleasant ideas. It's tempting to laugh at the little creature teetering on stilts, shaking a rattle and chanting. Don't. I've seen a charging Stálkarn warrior, a beast of pure momentum, stop dead in his tracks and start clawing at his own skin because one of these little shamans pointed a stick at him. Their magic is a foul, itchy, and deeply irritating thing that saps your strength and your will to live.
