Cubes set of colorful lego blocks Free 3D model

This 3D model was originally created with Sketchup 13 and then converted to all other 3D formats. Native format is .skp 3dsmax scene is 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered with Vray 3.00 Welcome to the world of Piet Heim and his elegant cube. This is a set of cubes in 7 irregular combinations. There are 1,105,920 ways in which the seven Soma pieces can be made into the cube. The 2 figures are Sam's Sitting Dog on the left and The Gallows on the rite. The 7 pieces are scattered around the completed cube. Take the blue piece, invert it, and it becomes a cube. This has been virtually enlarged to a 10' square cube, large enough to walk thru. That's the Crystal. The actual size of each cube is 1 1/8 inch square. I have had this puzzle since the 1970s. Pieces are components, try to make something else with them. And yes, I painted each part different to make it easier to make the figures in the booklet, which is stored in the base. Have fun. Bob
