Cactus

Cactus Free 3D model

Description

The cactus was created on blender using geometry nodes. It is therefore recommended to use it on blender. There are also other formats in the zipper file, but they will not be optimized.

Mostly used as ornamental plants, but some are also crop plants, they are unusual and easily identifiable plants that have managed to adapt to extremely arid and hot environments by developing various physiological and anatomical features to conserve water. Their stems have adapted by becoming succulent and photosynthetic, while their leaves, very often, have become spines, one of the most distinctive features of plants in this family.

Cacti come in very different shapes and sizes, from small and globular to large and columnar. The tallest cactus is Pachycereus pringlei, with a maximum recorded height of 19.2 m[3], and the smallest is Blossfeldia liliputana, which reaches 1 cm in diameter when fully mature[4]. Cactus flowers are large compared to the stem and leaves, and just like spines and branches, they arise from areoles. Many cactus species have night blooms because they are pollinated by nocturnal insects or small nocturnal animals.
