This free sample contains just 2 out of the 19 sockets and switches available in the main product - the Single Rocker Switch and the Singe Euro Socket. They do however have the same, full range of materials of the final product outlined in the description below, which is an edited version of the description of the main product.

(Some, but not all of these can be seen in the pictures provided on the website.)
Sockets
The sockets have faceplates available in the same 5 materials. As the trim of the sockets themselves should not be metal, it is available in black and white only, giving 10 material combinations to choose from. The Sockets come in single and double versions. The UK sockets are available with and without switches.
Directions
Importing the switches or sockets into your 3D programme of choice
Open your 3D package and click on the Import option.
Browse your hard drive to where you saved the .obj and/or .fbx files, select which of these 2 you want and click import. The objects will appear in the arrangement seen in the product photos provided on the web site, not all overlapping at the origin, to make it easier to see and select them. The origin of each object is situated in the centre of the faceplate when viewed from the front and in line with the back of the faceplate i.e. level with the wall surface the object is going to be fixed to.To build the material, add a shader and plug in the desired Colour, Metallic, Normal, Roughness and Specular Maps into the corresponding input on the shader node. You will find more information on these maps later in this document. If you need further help importing the objects or creating a material, look at the documentation for your specific software for more details.
Materials
Switches
As mentioned above and as can be seen in the product pictures, the faceplate and the switches themselves can have different materials. There are 5 materials available - Black, White, Gold, Silver and Copper. You can mix and match these in any combination. So, for each faceplate material, you can choose any material for the Switches. Giving a total of 25 combinations to choose from. You will find Colour, Roughness, Specular, Metallic and Normal Maps included for all possible combinations of materials for each item.
For the Colour : -
Each material has its own colour, meaning there are 25 colour combinations and a corresponding Colour Map for each. These are all 1k, as a higher resolution is not needed.
For Roughness, Specular and Metallic, there is a choice of 4 UV maps: -
Non Metallic faceplate and a NonMetallic switchNon Metallic faceplate and a Metallic switchMetallic faceplate and a Non Metallic switchMetallic faceplate and a Metallic switch
These are also all 1k maps. Be sure to choose the correct one to match the material combination you are using. The Normal Maps are available in 1k, 2k and 4k.All the renders in the example pictures were done using the 4k maps because they are close up pictures and the larger normal map provides more detail.
To summarise, there are 25 Colour maps, 4 Roughness maps, 4 Specular maps , 4 Metallic maps and 12 Normal maps for each Switch.
Sockets
As mentioned above, the choice for the trim of the Sockets is limited to non metallic materials. The sockets have 10 material combinations available with 10 colour maps, 2 Roughness maps, 2 Specular maps , 2 Metallic maps and 6 Normal maps.
