Strawbale Studio

Strawbale Studio Free 3D model

Description

This 3D model was originally created with Sketchup 7 and then converted to all other 3D formats. Native format is .skp 3dsmax scene is 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered with Vray 3.00 This is a small, 400sqft multi-purpose backyard out-building. For the seemingly strange layout, I was designing for somebody, confined to their wishes. They proposed a small out-building built of strawbale. They wanted clerestory windows and closets. The house (as I like to call it) features one large room with a closet, a pantry, and a water closet. The walls are very thick. Plaster hides the straw both inside out. By turning off the roof layer, you will see where the structure of the building is (6 large 16x16) along with smaller studs. You will see that with the top down view without the roof. By turning the roof back on, you will see the structure of the roof through a means of thick exposed beams. Look at the roof layer all by itself to see how it's made. Again, this was based on a former teacher's wishes. It is potentially to be built somewhere on his property. Please rate.

NOTE: This is a Paulwall design BUT it is not located anywhere within Paulwall city limits nor even in Paulwall County.
