If you answered yes to either of those questions, I'm sorry to say you are incorrect. But if you said it was in Paulwall then you are indeed correct! Here is a small bungalow house just west of the downtown metro area. It is actually a typical small rectangular bungalow if you think about it. The sharp peaks and long planks were inspired by the Japanese homes made of wood and rice paper. Thank goodness none of this house was made of paper! the porch and chimneys are stuccoed where as the walls are shingle style. Don't stop out here. Come on inside to see striking millwork about the interior. There are built-ins. The dining room also has some fine millwork of its own including a built-in cabinet. You aso get a private porch off the dining room beleive it or not. The kitchen is decked out with retro appliances. in back you get two bedrooms, a bathroom and a sleeping porch, or in other words, a third bedroom if you think about it. Those areas are less intricate. There are a number of other bungalows in the area a lot like this one but minus all the oriental pattern details this one offers.
