DESCRIPTION

This is an entry idea for the COMMEL socket competition.

By having this idea I was really thinking out of the box. Your main interest is to have an eye appealing product. In my opinion, the easiest way to achieve that is by using eye catching colors with shapes from the nature. This way you wouldn't only have a functional product but also a decorative item.The middle yellow part would be a light, not a strong one. It would glow at night, so you could find the socket and it would add a really aesthetic look to it.

The dimensions could be much different and same goes for the flower shape, also much smaller flower sockets could be designed, By using the flower shape as the main motive, your designs would be limitless.

The production costs wouldn't be much higher then for a normal design socket since you would really just change the shape and the functionality would stay the same.
