This is my entry design for the NEC design competition.

The Dark Moon is a modern table designed for active and dynamic work.While designing this table I focused on the main requirements of the challenge and the needs of a desk working person. The main designing pointers were:- a modern and eye-catching design,- to make the most use of the space used,- everything in or on the table must be within hand reach,

This way I decided to make a round shaped desk, because the only movement a person has to do to reach anything around him is rotation. This way you have the highest productivity.I also included several other specialities such as an integrated LED light, a paper/book/magazine/... holder, a paper tray with option of collapsing inside the table...So I was really thinking about everything you need, to have all the required information in any kind of form (digital, physical-books,magazines,...) as close as possible.

I organized the table into 3 parts:1. PART (on the left) would be used for reading, hand-writing etc. (that is why I icluded an extra LED light)2. PART (in the middle) is used for analysis of digital material shown on screen, so anything envolving computer work.3. PART (on the right) could be used for material (paper, books,...) storage and organising or also for other activities since the bookshelf can be hidden inside the table.
