The Bottle Base and Brace are simple tools, designed to add a broader and more stable base to narrow bottomed steel water bottles. These are two designs, which allow for multiple bottle diameters, since they are flexible, gripping the circumference of the bottle, like a collar. The brace and base should lift with the bottle, while remaining easy to pull off. This upload includes 2 differnt designs, one a collar, the other a crossed gripping base, which can be printed in 2 parts.

Having used steel water bottles for years, I've had the occasion to knock them over often. More than once, I've come very too close to soaking a laptop or power strip, which would have been very bad. With that in mind, instead of recapping the bottle constantly, I designed something to stabilize the bottle, making it more difficult to overturn by accident. This makes the bottle more difficult to tip, but not impossible.

The model was test printed on a custom built Delta Printer with 0.2mm layer heights and 35% infill. Print in any material or flexible resin.
