DESCRIPTION

To use his bow, the archer must let go of the reins and requires exceptional equestrian know-how. This way of fighting is typical of the nomadic horses of the Eurasian steppes, but such archers also existed in Western Europe, most often in the direct service of kings or grand dukes.

The favored weapon of horse archers was the double-curved bow, compact enough to fire from a horse, but with sufficient range and penetration force. The only thing they could fear were the enemy's arrows, but they could turn their backs and flee out of their range after each attack. They therefore needed little or no armor, allowing them to use small mounts.

  • With this set, you can assemble 6 archers (light and hevay) with bow and 4 differents horses.

This pack contains a set of STL files which requires a 3D printer (resin printer recommended).
