Grevvo Lom survived Jabba’s palace by serving as a cautious logistics clerk who managed the cartel's weapon caches and heavy cargo. He narrowly missed the doomed sail barge trip to the Great Pit of Carkoon because he stayed behind to audit a misrouted crate of heavy blasters. When the barge exploded and killed Jabba's entire court, Grevvo was left as a sole survivor, free to claim the remaining military surplus for himself.
