A single mother of two, Kelsey Leigh died defending Captain America with his shield when her and her family were caught between the Avengers and the Wrecking Crew. In death she was given the choice of the Amulet of Right or the Sword of Might by Captain Britain and his wife Meggan. Returning to Earth she took the mantle of Captain Britain and helped the Avengers defeat Morgan Le Fay and her forces.
