The Ginyū Special Forces (ギ ニ ュ ー 特 戦 隊 Ginyū Tokusentai?) Are a group of fictional characters in the manga and anime Dragon Ball. They are a group of powerful warriors subordinate to Frieza.

Frieza had trouble gathering the Dragon Balls in Namek because of the constant interruptions of Vegeta, Gohan and Krillin, so he decided to call the special brigade to eliminate the enemies and return the Dragon Balls that had been stolen. They were on their way to the planet Yardrat, upon arriving at Namek they managed to find the enemies just before they summoned the dragon Polunga. Captain Ginyū left with the Dragon Balls and the others made a raffle to see who had to fight against the enemies.
