The Marine Building is a 93m (305ft) tall skyscraper in Vancouver, Canada. Designed by McCarter Nairne & Partners and completed in 1930, the building is one of Canada's finest art deco buildings. Its dramatic stepping setbacks are adorned with etchings of sea creatures and other nautical symbols. Today, the brick and terra cotta Marine building stands out among Vancouver's blue glassy skyscrapers as a magnificent piece of the city's architectural heritage.
