This highly detailed STL model represents a compact industrial-style floodlight, designed in H0 scale (1:87). Featuring realistic cooling fins typical of halogen or LED floodlights, the model adds authentic lighting detail to railway layouts, construction scenes, or industrial dioramas.

A recess on the backside of the lamp allows for the insertion of a SMD LED up to size 5050, including WS2812 addressable LEDs, making the floodlight fully functional. To allow light to pass through, the model should be printed using clear or transparent resin.

Printing & Finishing Recommendations:

For best results, print with transparent resin to ensure proper light diffusion.

After printing, prime the model in silver, then paint it black to block light bleed. Finish with silver or metallic dry brushing to bring out the surface details.

For efficient batch painting, we recommend placing the parts face-down on double-sided tape (lens side down). This technique allows you to spray-paint up to 50 floodlights at once.

Notes:

Designed for SLA/resin 3D printing only. FDM is not suitable due to the fine detail and small dimensions.

Supports are required – angle the model slightly in your slicer and add supports for optimal results.
