Description

Rings with three-sided diamond setting.

The rings are made in the Rhino 6th version using parametric modeling in Grasshopper. I created a program that creates a ring, I only need to specify the diameter and I get a ring of any size.

Models can be used to create JEWELRY molds for casting rings in gold, platinum and other metals.

There is Double Ring (V2) - Two stripes of diamonds on the upper side and one strip of diamonds on the sides.

Each ring is available in 26 sizes from US2 (13.2 mm) to US14.5 (23.5 mm) in increments of 0.5.

I used 2 types of Diamonds in the Rings - on the upper part there are 2mm diamonds around the circumference, and on the sides - 1.8mm Diamonds.

Mass properties From:

Volume of the Double Ring size of US2 - 342.12 mm cubic (7.34 grams of Platinum) 46 Diamonds (2mm) and 46 Diamonds (1.8mm);

and to

Volume of the Double Ring size of US14.5 - 559.15mm cubic (11.99 grams of Platinum), 80 Diamonds (2mm) and 80 Diamonds (1.8mm);

Models are available in 3 formats - Rhino (3DM), STL, 3DS, OBJ, FBX and STP

STL, STP, 3DM formats for 3D printing is available in three versions - with diamonds and without diamonds and print-ready with protruding supports.

Visualizations were made in 3D MAX using Corona Render and STP files from the collection.
