Rings with three-sided diamond setting.

The rings are made in the Rhino 6th version using parametric modeling in Grasshopper. I created a program that creates a ring, I only need to specify the diameter and I get a ring of any size.

This collection was created in my parametric modeling program. The program allows you to create rings of 10 designs with any size of diamonds and a diameter of 10 to 100 millimeters. Models can be used to create JEWELRY molds for casting rings in gold, platinum and other metals.

There are 3 versions of the ring in the collection: The first version Single Ring (V1) - One strip of diamonds on the upper side and one strip of diamonds on the sides. The second version Double Ring (V2) - Two stripes of diamonds on the upper side and one strip of diamonds on the sides. The third version Triple Ring (V3) - Three stripes of diamonds on the upper side and one strip of diamonds on the sides.

Each ring is available in 26 sizes from US2 (13.2 mm) to US14.5 (23.5 mm) in increments of 0.5.

I used 2 types of Diamonds in the Rings - on the upper part there are 2mm diamonds around the circumference, and on the sides - 1.8mm Diamonds.

Mass properties From:

Volume of the Single Ring size of US2 Size - 172.02mm cubic (3.69 grams of Platinum), 23 Diamonds (2mm) and 46 Diamonds (1.8mm);

Volume of the Double Ring size of US2 - 342.12 mm cubic (7.34 grams of Platinum) 46 Diamonds (2mm) and 46 Diamonds (1.8mm);

Volume of the Triple Ring size of US2 - 511.99mm cubic (10.98 grams of Platinum) 69 Diamonds (2mm) and 46 Diamonds (1.8mm);

and to

Volume of the Single Ring Size of US14.5 - 278.83mm cubic (5.98 grams of Platinum), 40 Diamonds (2mm) and 80 Diamonds (1.8mm);

Volume of the Double Ring size of US14.5 - 559.15mm cubic (11.99 grams of Platinum), 80 Diamonds (2mm) and 80 Diamonds (1.8mm);

Volume of the Triple Ring size of US14.5 - 838.83mm cubic (17.99 grams of Platinum), 120 Diamonds (2mm) and 80 Diamonds (1.8mm);

Models are available in 3 formats - Rhino (3DM), STL, 3DS, OBJ, FBX and STP

STL, STP, 3DM formats for 3D printing is available in three versions - with diamonds and without diamonds and print-ready with protruding supports.

Visualizations were made in 3D MAX using Corona Render and STP files from the collection.

Can't get it to print correctly I print everyday. Tried 4 different configuration all 4 had fails same location

Try to fix the stl file, it may have a polysurface gap, u can use 3d builder app from Microsoft for free, and it's really easy to use
