DESCRIPTION

Inspired by Laura, a colleague of mine, I present a new part of the biogrid collection. This beauty comes in two versions and two sizes. The first version is the body only and the second one has stretched wings. The lengt of the body from feeler to end of the small version is 28mm. The wings extend to a width of 56mm. The thinnest part has a diameter of 2mm and can therefore be easily printed on an fdm printer. I made a little lantern out of it. The big version is 57mm long and 113mm wide with wings. The rods have a diameter of 1mm. It is therefore still suitable for wax casting but needs a bit of extra attention on manufacturing.

You can also scale the modle to your needs.

The rendering with the material examples shows in the upper left corner a layer thickness of 0.1mm as it could be created during 3D printing.
