DESCRIPTION

House (calli):

The calli, or house, was a fundamental space for family and social life in Aztec culture. Aztec houses were generally made of adobe and had a thatched roof. They had a central space for cooking and eating, as well as bedrooms and storage areas.

The house was a symbol of security and stability. It was the place where the family gathered to share food, stories, and traditions.
