Lattice floral type CNC pattern

Lattice floral type CNC pattern 3D print model

Description

Hi! Thanks for looking at my art. Ill take a few minutes now to discribe the piece and its parts which are avalible in the attached blender file. The center medallion is four seperate parts in the blend, so if you like the shell geomtery I made they are easily rearranged. The vine pattern outside the center mass is all one piece mirrored around the origin. I feel like the piece could use some more time and the ivy could be firmed up a little better. I did pay attention to avoid triangles as possible in the mesh creation as they can get messy but there are a few. It may seem lacking but I believe the trim choice is of equal importance to the design which I leave to buyer's discression.

I see this piece in my head as a rather large room divider with LED strip lighting and mylar mirror backing inside to increase reflection. It will cast excellent shadows which would take a lot interal compartment light play. I ran it in Vcarve as a check (wood ton preview) with a 22.5 1mm-3mm tappered ballnose strategy 13% stepover on a scale of 13 inches by 5.5 inches at .175 depth; that said I see some margin for correction in this stragtery and preview.

I look on it rather fondly and would love to see it milled out. I would say I spent two to three days playing with this image - more can be done with it but the exchange of detail and mill time gets tedious and limiting. If you have any questions or something you would like attempted in the realm of bas-relief CNC send me as message. General feed back and comments are very welcome!

Thank you so very much for your time; UNA
