1/2
This one was quite a technical challenge, but I’m really happy with how it turned out.
The build itself is straightforward — it uses one button, one battery, and one motor to control the lift-and-snap action. I printed and tested the mechanism to make sure i designed it well and it works well when printed, and good news — it really does.
I’ve included everything you need to get started:
Fully engineered and simplified motor action and build
STL files
3MF files (presupported, with print orientation and print suggestion info)
PDF build guide and animations
Parts list with photos
I also did my best to reuse parts from previous projects, so it’s very likely you already have everything needed.
