3D Printable Car Kit. This is a 3d printable kit of Ferrari 312P Spyder - classic version. The Ferrari 312 P was a Group 6 Prototype-Sports Car used for racing in 1969 and 1970. After boycotting sports car racing in 1968 to protest a rule change that also banned their 4-litre 330 P4, Ferrari built a 3000cc prototype in 1969, the 312 P. It was hardly more than a 3-litre F1 Ferrari 312 with open Barchetta, and later the closed top Berlinetta.
The model is very detailed, so make sure your printer can handle all the details before buying it. It is in real-world scale but with increased thickness overall, so make sure you decide which scale you want to print the parts at. The first part (001-spc-body-middle-frame) is also the biggest, so you can decide while previewing it. If you want to sample a couple of parts to preview and test print (including the biggest part) before buying please use this link and download the appropriate archive: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1R3JfsosR40cHbkbEBuf88TfWUNhd_ZDB
It contains 221 interlocking parts in STL, SolidWorks assembly, 3MF, F3D, 3DM, IGES, Parasolid, PLY, OBJ and STEP files. You can print them separated or you can choose to merge multiple parts and print together. There is a STL containing all parts merged so you can preview the whole model before you start printing, and there are multiple STL files for each part. I recommend the Solidworks, F3D, 3MF or STEP files for printing as they have a better resolution than STL. The files also include a main part split into 4 interlocking parts, for an easier printing and painting.
Update v2: Even more parts have been split (14 extra) - suspensions, brakedisks and other smaller parts so you can paint them even easier.
Update v3: Calipers and Brake discs separated.
Update v4: More engine parts separated and some wires and hoses removed.
Update v5: Exhaust pipes split into 8 pieces each side for easier printing.
Update v6: Split doors
Update v7: Split back body part
Update v8: Body-middle split into 17 pieces
It also contains multiple PNG files for artwork (dash gauges, emblems etc) to be printed and glued to the model and some SVG files with bumpmaps for the tire sidewalls if you want to use them fro displacement (3D texture).
The 3ds Max files included only work using the Power Nurbs addon.
Use 7-Zip to extract the archives if you have issues with them.
You are allowed to sell the 3d printed parts or the whole kit after printing, but you are not allowed to share or sell the digital 3d model.
Don't forget to rate the model. Thanks.
