All parts have been checked in the 3DS Max STLcheck modifier and no errors were found. The entire model was also checked and found to be error-free using MiniMagics 3.0 by Materialise n.v. (C) 2013. This means it is ready to print in a 3D printer.The board is 96mm square and 2mm thick. It comes in two interlocking parts to facilitate printing in two different colours. Simply clip the parts together for an instant chess board. Included are 2 board pieces, 8 pawns, 2 castles, 2 knights, 2 bishops, 1 queen and 1 king, and 4 texture files. Only the white (mother-of-pearl) pieces have been provided to keep the file small. Simply duplicate them and colour black or as required. NOTE: the printable STL files comprise one separate file for each piece in one ZIP file with no textures.Pieces range in height from 16-24mm and all have 10mm square bases. A carrying box is not included but could be about 100x100x15mm which would accommodate all pieces and fit comfortably in a pocket or handbag. Textures included for those who are not printing the model. The model can be used on the computer, in a game or it can be printed to play in "real" life :)
