DESCRIPTION

Many people within the model railway world use Handheld Controllers to control their DCC trains and when a handheld holder bracket broke at my model club the idea to design brackets that people could print came about.

This holder has been designed for the DigiTrax DT400 and the UT4 handheld controllers.

This holder has been designed to be printed on an FDM printer but can also be printed on a resin 3D printer. When printing I recommend printing in the vertical position (See Photos), the reason for printing in this orientation is that no supports are needed when printing.

When printing on a FDM printer I recommend you use a filament like PETG or PLA+. you can use PLA but be aware of the limitations of PLA. I have included screw holes for fixing to your layout.

The example in the pictures was printed on a Bambu Labs A1 with a 0.4mm nozzle and a layer height of 0.12mm using PETG.
