The figurehead for every House Cabal is the Baron, or Baroness. Masters of conspiracy, these cloak and dagger tacticians lead House raids for resources and chattel for the protein banks. Barons(ess) can control hundreds or hundreds of thousands of troops depending on the size of the House. They also have access to the best equipment and get first pick of the spoils from raids. A Baron(ess) must keep alert at all times however. Their immediate inferiors would happily slip their master a poisoned goblet to get control of the House.
