The Commodore 128D, also known as the C128D or C128DCR (Cost Reduced), is the desktop variant of the Commodore 128 home computer, introduced in 1985. Unlike the original C128, the C128D features a detachable full-size keyboard connected via a coiled cable and a built-in 1571 disk drive integrated into the main chassis. This design gave it a more professional desktop appearance, while retaining full compatibility with C64 and C128 software.
Important noteModel was re-drawn with a caliper from a real C128D, which I had on my hands, but was never tested! That's why the price is lower for now.
This is a 1:1 photorealistic, high-resolution, and fully detailed 3D print model of the Commodore C128D enclosure. It is suitable for both 3D printing and plastic molding. All ports, slots, and mounting points are carefully designed to perfectly fit the original motherboard and keyboard connector. You can use this enclosure to restore a vintage C128D, build a custom retro-PC project, or house an emulator system such as Raspberry Pi or Mini-ITX inside the authentic C128D desktop case.
