Measuring Instructions
This is a wearable torso armor model, so correct sizing is very important before printing.
Measure your full chest, underbust, and waistMeasure the front torso width in a straight line, not around body curvesMeasure the torso height from upper chest / collar area down to where you want the armor to endCompare your measurements to the internal dimensions of the chestplate in your slicerScale uniformly (X/Y/Z) first, then recheck fit in all key areasFor the pauldrons:Measure your shoulder widthCheck the size of each pauldron relative to your upper arm and shoulder areaMake sure the shoulder pieces match the chestplate visually after scalingImportant fit note:
For torso armor, always check the inside space of the model, especially:
chest widthrib and side clearancewaist widthtorso heightshoulder coverage
_Tip:It is usually safer to print slightly larger and fine-tune the fit with straps, padding, foam lining, or careful heat shaping._
Recommended materials:PLA-HT / FPLA for improved wearable durabilityPETG for more flexibility and impact resistanceElastomer-based / flexible filaments for softer comfort-focused experiments
Printing a small fit test section first is a good idea before committing to the full wearable size.
