ENGLISH:

The cartoon begins with Tom taunting Jerry with cheese tied to a string: as Jerry jumps at it, Tom draws it back. On his third try, Jerry fakes Tom out once, but still fails to stop the cat from pulling the string completely back. Jerry meets Tom armed with an iron, and Tom drops it; Jerry moves Tom's foot, which gets smashed instead. Tom chases Jerry up the stairs of the house and both animals slide down the railing, but Jerry moves onto an alternate path while Tom is thrown into the wall and a cuckoo clock falls on him, causing Tom to cuckoo.

Tom spots a fireplace bellow and sucks Jerry away from his mousehole, tosses him with the fireplace bellow into the air and back down, but cannot hold onto the mouse, as Jerry catches a plate from the shelf of plates near the ceiling and breaks a plate over Tom's head. Jerry hides in an invisible ink bottle labeled Chemo Set as Tom searches for him.

After the coast is clear, Jerry gets out and soon discovers he's half invisible. He reads the invisible ink bottle and dips his hand in the ink just to be sure. Just then, Jerry excitedly jumps into the bottle again, and comes out completely invisible. He decides to have some fun by himself, chowing down a whole bowl of chocolate truffles and trekking across a table and chairs. When he finds Tom has set up another cheese/iron trap for him, the invisible Jerry walks toward his hole, chomps the cheese and walks away. Tom is puzzled and puts the iron on the nearest table to examine the situation, but Jerry smashes Tom's foot with the iron again, then stuffs the cat's tail into an electric socket and gives him a shock.

Tom dashes away in fright and exhaustion, scared stiff from what has happened to him; he settles down for a drink of milk, but Jerry moves the dish back and forth as Tom rubs his eyelids. Seeing nothing, the cat tries to drink his milk, but Jerry slurps every last drop and spits it into Tom's face.

Tom checks himself to make sure nothing is hanging from any part of his body, and overcome with exhaustion, draws up a pillow and goes to sleep. His nap does not last long, as the mouse lights a book of matches between Tom's toes; Tom starts to sweat in bed and wakes up. He sees nothing at first, but then smells the smoke and soon notices his foot is on fire. Yelping in pain, he dashes over to a piano stool and sticks his foot in the goldfish bowl, putting out the fire.

Tom then hears the piano playing with no visible assistance and peeks inside the belly of the instrument, but Jerry drops the cover on him. Tom sees a banana being eaten of its own accord and then spots the shadow of Jerry on the nearby wall; now realizing the truth, he stealthily whacks Jerry with a book, whose shadow reveals that he has incurred a bump on his head. Tom grabs at where Jerry was, but Jerry grabs an apple and flees. Tom follows him under a refrigerator and, when the mouse throws away his apple core, Tom throws flour all over the kitchen to force Jerry to leave tracks when he comes out. Tom slaps at Jerry with a frying pan, but Jerry writes a cursive missed me in the flour.

The second swing from the cat encourages Jerry to run away; Tom chases Jerry and grabs at where the footprints are, but when he opens his hand, Jerry twists his whiskers. Tom seizes a curtain and covers the mouse's footprints with it, trapping the mouse in his tracks as Jerry is shown to struggle helplessly. Tom grabs another book and starts beating the mouse, but Jerry escapes unseen from the cat's hold and swing hits Tom's rear with a golf club, causing the cat to briefly grimace in pain. Jerry takes the chase outside. When outside, Tom stops and sees Jerry, but can do nothing as Jerry whacks a sleeping Spike on the head and the golf club is planted on him. Spike, now thoroughly incensed, emerges with a bump on his head and starts whacking Tom repeatedly with the golf club all the way down the street. Inside, Jerry procures a straw and drinks Tom's chocolate milk, which fills in his empty silhouette and renders him visible again. And there he is, back to normal... Jerry the Mouse. Seemingly oblivious, he continues sipping.

El dibujo animado comienza con Tom provocando a Jerry con un queso atado a una cuerda: cuando Jerry salta hacia él, Tom lo retira. En su tercer intento, Jerry engaña a Tom una vez, pero aun así no logra impedir que el gato tire de la cuerda por completo. Jerry se encuentra con Tom armado con una plancha, y Tom la suelta; Jerry mueve el pie de Tom, que es aplastado en su lugar. Tom persigue a Jerry escaleras arriba y ambos animales se deslizan por la barandilla, pero Jerry toma otro camino mientras Tom es lanzado contra la pared y un reloj de cuco cae sobre él, provocando que cante.

Tom, desconcertado, deja la plancha sobre la mesa más cercana para examinar la situación, pero Jerry le aplasta el pie con la plancha otra vez, luego mete la cola del gato en un enchufe y le da una descarga eléctrica.

Tom sale corriendo, asustado y exhausto, paralizado por el miedo que le ha ocurrido; se sienta a beber un vaso de leche, pero Jerry mueve el plato de un lado a otro mientras Tom se frota los párpados. Al no ver nada, el gato intenta beber su leche, pero Jerry sorbe hasta la última gota y se la escupe en la cara.

Tom se revisa para asegurarse de que nada le cuelgue del cuerpo y, agotado, se acurruca con una almohada y se duerme. Su siesta no dura mucho, pues el ratón enciende una caja de cerillas entre los dedos de los pies; Tom empieza a sudar en la cama y se despierta. Al principio no ve nada, pero luego huele el humo y enseguida se da cuenta de que se le está quemando el pie. Gritando de dolor, corre hacia un taburete de piano y mete el pie en la pecera, apagando así el fuego.

Tom oye entonces que el piano suena sin ayuda aparente y echa un vistazo al interior del instrumento, pero Jerry le deja caer la tapa encima. Tom ve un plátano que se come solo y entonces divisa la sombra de Jerry en la pared cercana; al darse cuenta de la verdad, le da un golpe furtivo a Jerry con un libro, cuya sombra revela que se ha hecho un chichón en la cabeza. Tom intenta agarrar a Jerry, pero este coge una manzana y huye. Tom lo sigue hasta debajo del refrigerador y, cuando el ratón tira el corazón de su manzana, Tom esparce harina por toda la cocina para obligar a Jerry a dejar huellas al salir. Tom le da un sartenazo a Jerry, pero Jerry escribe en cursiva me fallaste en la harina.

El segundo golpe del gato anima a Jerry a huir; Tom lo persigue y agarra las huellas, pero cuando abre la mano, Jerry le retuerce los bigotes. Tom toma una cortina y cubre las huellas del ratón con ella, atrapándolo mientras Jerry lucha inútilmente. Tom agarra otro libro y empieza a golpear al ratón, pero Jerry escapa sin ser visto del agarre del gato y golpea a Tom en el trasero con un palo de golf, lo que provoca que el gato haga una breve mueca de dolor. Jerry continúa la persecución afuera. Ya afuera, Tom se detiene y ve a Jerry, pero no puede hacer nada cuando Jerry golpea a Spike, que está dormido, en la cabeza y le clava el palo de golf. Spike, furioso, aparece con un chichón en la cabeza y empieza a golpear a Tom repetidamente con el palo de golf por toda la calle. Dentro, Jerry toma una pajita y bebe la leche con chocolate de Tom, que «rellena» su silueta vacía y lo hace visible de nuevo. Y ahí está, de vuelta a la normalidad... Jerry el Ratón. Aparentemente ajeno a todo, sigue bebiendo.
