Tiny Bulldog is a recurring character in Chuck Jones' run on Tom and Jerry. During this period, he temporarily replaced Spike Bulldog. Like Spike, he is a bulldog friend and ally of Jerry, and Tom's canine counterpart.Tiny is a sturdy bulldog with yellow fur and a white belly. In his first two appearances, he is of normal size; in the third and fourth, he or a smaller relative appears as a mouse-sized bulldog.As a medium-sized bulldog, his role is similar to Spike's (in cartoons like The Bodyguard and Tied to the Hand), which is to defend Jerry from Tom.
