Miles Morales is a teenager of African-American and Puerto Rican descent living in Brooklyn, New York. He is the only son of police-officer father, Jefferson Davis, and nurse mother, Rio Morales. Miles also has a close bond with his Uncle Aaron (Jefferson’s younger brother), who is revealed to be the Prowler, a sidekick of Spider-Man’s enemy, Kingpin, in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Miles is also bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish.
