pelican Animal Chess 3D print model

It is a great design! I'm using a filament 3D printer so straight forward printing the standing statue won't work because of lack of strength in the model while building upwards the layers. Therefore i rotated the model 90 degrees to a horizontal position and devided it into two halves. I put both halves on the deck and printed them with great succes. By doing this the thin parts s.a. leggs , neck and head will be printed with long continuous filaments, making the model far more strong. ADVICE TO THIS WEBSITE: OFFER A CHOICE FOR FILAMENT PRINTER OWNERS TO BUY A DESIGN ALREADY SPLITTED IN TWO PARTS BOTH LAYING FLAT ON TH WORK AREA !
