The crossing of the Red Sea was one of the most important events in the history of Israel.The Jews were trapped between the sea and the Egyptian army. There was no way out. The people panicked and Moses cried out to God. Then God opened the Red Sea with a strong wind and the whole people crossed. The Egyptians saw this and decided to cross the sea as well.
